Objectives
The work of the Institute is organized around five topic areas including:
(a) AT use
(b) Adaptations and development of meaningful outcomes
(c) policy and resources

In order to address these five topic areas, TnT's research agenda includes:
- Examining the potential for well-timed adaptations, including AT devices and services to contribute to children's learning and participation within the activities and routines of natural settings
- Identifying critical factors, singularly or in combination with other factors, associated with positive outcomes for families and their infants and toddlers and
- Translating research outcomes and results to primary consumers (i.e., families of infants and toddlers) and secondary consumers (Early Intervention service providers)
