Adapted Car Play
- Small car or truck (Matchbox or similar)
- Empty one liter clear plastic soda bottle
- Clear plastic tube used to store florescent light bulbs
- Large rubber suction cup (type that is used for car top carriers)
Instructions:
Wash plastic soda bottle and remove label, discard cap. Cut crosswise slits on each side of the bottle to create two holes directly across from each other that are the diameter of the clear plastic tube. To do this, start by marking and cutting a + the diameter of the tube. Then in the same spot, cut an X that is slightly smaller than the diameter to provide a good fit.
Insert the clear plastic tube, centering in the soda bottle, so that the bottle acts as a fulcrum. Place the large rubber suction cup into the mouth of the bottle. Put the car or truck into the tube. Using suction cup, adhere play device to table where child can reach one end to pull or push down so that car will go from one end of the tube to another.
